Ian Sotzing

As part of the second year of Dolby’s short film competition, Finish The Script, I oversaw the development of behind the scenes featurettes that tracked each filmmaker’s journey through the creative process. Beyond just documenting the creation of their films, I wanted to explore a bit of their thinking as an artist – to help underscore why they created the films they did.

I conceptualized, produced, directed, filmed and edited this mini-doc profile, as one of a series of four pieces that premiered theatrically alongside Sawyer’s short film at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
