STEP INSIDE THE MAGIC.

Object-based immersive audio? High dynamic range video? Some things are better experienced, than explained.

In late 2018 Dolby decided to put themselves in front of consumers like never before. The plan was to open a larger than life interactive wonderland in the heart of New York City to let people experience Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision for themselves.

I served as the lead video creative for the duration of the 18 month exhibition. The 30,000 sq ft space was outfitted with 11 custom video installations which included projection mapped rooms, multi-screen arrays, LED walls, an interactive DJ lab, exterior billboard displays/signage, high end home theater systems, a mobile device bar, and even a Dolby Cinema. The goal was to showcase Dolby’s partnerships across entertainment and technology, so every month the video content throughout the space was turned over to showcase the latest-greatest.

I worked to create large-format creative that showcased Dolby’s technology and also highlighted Dolby’s partners with co-marketing experiences. Highlights included activations with Star Wars (Disney), Our Planet, Two Popes, Marriage Story (Netflix), Amazon Echo Studio, WuTang, and Alicia Keys, among others.
