Myodesopsia International: Patient Interviews
SAN FRANCISCO / HUNTINGTON BEACH
As part of ongoing efforts overseeing creative direction for the team at Myodesopsia International, I helped develop and execute a content plan across various digital touch points. The organization is an international non-profit focused on an underserved corner of ophthalmological science, working towards safe treatment of chronic visual floaters, or myodesopsia, by establishing a strong patient-led advocacy group that brings together community, research and resources.
In order to help communicate the symptoms of the condition, and underscore the experience of living with chronic floaters, I captured interviews with various patients to bring their medical journey to life. By demonstrating the effect the condition has on individuals, impacting their quality of life, the team is able to establish the need for more effective treatment options.
